The Marshmallow Test

Hello readers!

It’s Sunday again and time for some fun Psychology. Watch this video of kids staring at marshmallows…it’s super adorable!

This is a classic experiment on delayed gratification.

Researchers later found that kids who were able to wait also performed better in other aspects of life. They had higher SAT scores, healthier BMI (body mass index), had better professional successes, and held more stable relationships.

Would you have waited for that second marshmallow?
